2024 LPS Football Fan Guide

LPS Communications

August 28, 2024

Lawton Public Schools is excited for the start of the 2024 football season and the expectations for our three high school football teams are very high. There will be great crowds at all of the games played at Cameron Stadium. To ensure a safe and welcoming environment at each contest, the following rules and regulations are in place.

Before entering the stadium, each spectator will be required to pass through the weapons detector system that will be located at each entrance of the stadium. Fans will only be asked to be searched if they set off the weapons detectors when walking through. Barriers will be set up at each entrance as well as the area around the field of play.

Medium to large bags are not allowed unless for medical reasons or diaper bags. Fans are encouraged not to bring a bag, but if they must, it can be no bigger than 6.5” x 4.5”. LPS students will not be allowed to bring in backpacks. Any bag will be subject to be searched.

There will be no outside food or drink allowed in the stadium. All spectators who try to bring them in will be asked to return to their car or throw them away before entering.

Students will be required to visibly display their school ID’s at all times.  Students will not be allowed to congregate up by the concession stands and restrooms. We ask all fans to not gather by the locker room/field house prior to, during, and after games. No standing or hanging on the rails of the stadium.

All spectators will be asked to leave the stadium through the three designated exits as soon as possible following the end of the contest.
