Parents, This is just a reminder about traffic on NE 45th Street in front of MacArthur Middle School. Please do not park, or stop to pick up or drop off students on NE 45th Street. This is a safety concern for students and staff members. Signs are posted on NE 45th Street to remind everyone. We are working diligently on improving the pick-up and drop-off procedures daily. Thank you for your continued patience and support.

UPDATE: We want to share an update regarding the social media screenshots/threat being shared around our community and statewide. The source of these posts are not LPS related, but are using the abbreviations of MMS and MHS. Law enforcement is actively tracking down the original post. Remember, if you See Something, Say Something. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MMS Family: We have received word of a social media post circulating with a threat. Our LPSPD and local law enforcement are aware. They have deemed this post not credible. We will continue to work with our local law enforcement as we receive information. Girls basketball will meet after school on Wednesday. For those interested in joining, please go by room 43.

Coach Silverio will be hosting Baseball Tryouts on September 13th from 3:30 - Until Complete. Students will need to bring their cleats, gloves, bats, and any other items that they wish to use for tryouts.

Parents/Guardians, We want to send this update for our AM drop-off on the car line. The yellow area on the north side is for drop-offs. You can drop off anywhere in the yellow area; you do not have to wait to get to the front of the line. Thanks for your support and patience as we strive to improve our procedures.
